Janice Allen, 73, Indianapolis, formerly of Paoli, IN, passed away Saturday, January, 7, 2017 at University Heights Health and Living, Indianapolis, IN. She was born March 20, 1943 in Paoli, IN to Everett B and Ruby Patton Hicks. She married Walter L Allen and he preceded her in death. Janice was a loving wife and mother and was of the Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Walter.

Daughter: Terri K Freund and husband Brian Indianapolis, IN
Brother: Donnie Hicks French Lick, IN
Sister: Barbara Elliott Whiteland, IN
Also surviving Janice Allen are four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, IN 47454.
