Tyler Dean Hurst, age 26, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017, at Norton Hospital, Louisville, KY. surrounded by his family.
He was born on October 4, 1990 in Joliet, Illinois to Kelly Hurst and Elena Armstrong Hurst.
Tyler worked as a laborer at Kimball International in Salem and Fabri-Form in Pekin. He enjoyed his many friends and family and never met a stranger. He loved music, reading, documentaries, cruising, and all sports especially Chicago Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks.
Besides his parents Tyler is survived by his grandparents: Ronald and Elena Keagle of Joliet, IL and Dorothy Hurst of Pekin. One brother: Shawn Fredericks (Danielle), Pekin. Three sisters: Tamara Hurst (Brandon Gibson), Cassidy Bobo, both of Pekin, and Breeana Hurst, Campbellsburg. Five nieces: Anniston, Brynlee, Kenzie, Kyah, and Kimeri and two nephews Cole and David.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Nobel Ray Hurst.
Funeral services will be held on Monday January 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra. Visitation will be held Sunday January 29, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm and Monday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at Love Funeral Home.
