Washington County Sheriff’s Department arrested a 28-year-old Salem man on Saylor Road on Thursday who was wanted on murder charges in Louisville.
According to Sheriff Roger Newlon, Darryl Lavon Hall, 28, of 10439 East Saylor Road, Salem, was arrested without incident Thursday afternoon.
There was an outstanding warrant for Hall’s arrest on murder, armed robbery and resisting law enforcement charges from Louisville.
It is not known at this time how Hall came to be wanted on these charges.
Officers with the Indiana State Police, Indiana Conservation Department, New Pekin Police Department and the US Marhall’s office were contacted to assist the sheriff’s department with the warrant service.
Hall was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he awaits extradition to Louisville.
