Nora Alliene Heintz Compton, age 94, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Baptist Health Floyd, New Albany, IN.
Nora was born April 17, 1923 in Palmyra, IN to the late William John and
Cora E. Haub Heintz, Sr.
She was retired from General Electric and attended Palmyra United Methodist Church.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Leighton Compton, Sr.; Brothers, Calvin, William Heintz, Jr.; sister, Melba Heintz; Daughter-in- law, Rolla Compton.
Surviving are Sons: Donald Compton (Norma) of Marengo, IN, Ryan Compton (Pam) of Lanesville, IN, Brother: Norman Heintz (Yvonne) of Palmyra, IN, 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Funeral 1 P.M. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, Indiana with burial in Central Barren Cemetery.
Visitation 4 – 8 P.M. Friday and after 10 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
