Florence E. Richardson, age 96 of Greensburg, Indiana passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at 3:38 pm, in Aspen Place Health Campus of Greensburg.
Born April 20, 1921 in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late William I. and Louanna (Chastain) Gilstrap.
She was a retired employee of the old Gould Powdered Metal Company in Salem, a member of the Bunker Hill Christian Church and had been a resident of Greensburg since 1993, formerly of Washington County.
Florence married July 17, 1943 to Lawrence L. Richardson, who passed away Feb. 3, 1998.
Survivors include: 3 grandchildren, Jeff Durham of Indianapolis, Brian Durham of Yorktown, Indiana and Jeri Gramman of Greensburg; 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 daughters (Judy Kay Richardson & Carolyn Sue Durham), 6 sisters and 6 brothers.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Visitation: 11 am until the time of the service on Thursday.
Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery.
