On Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018, Indiana State Police-Versailles Detectives arrested a Hanover, Indiana man on charges of child molesting.
The investigation by Trooper Tia Deaton began in November 2017 when the Indiana State Policeand Indiana Department of Child Services was made aware of allegations of child molestation.
The investigation determined that Allen R. McFadden, age 45, Hanover, Indiana allegedly molested a female juvenile approximately seven years earlier at a residence near Hanover, Indiana.
After the two month investigation was completed, it was turned over to the Jefferson County Prosecutor’s Office for review. Ultimately, a warrant was issued for McFadden on a felony charge of child molesting.
McFadden was taken into custody at his residence without incident. He was transported to the Jefferson County Jail where he was incarcerated pending his initial court appearance.
