Aleen Aldridge Hooper, age 89, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018.
Aleen was born September 21, 1928 at New Albany, Indiana to the late
Sanford Simpson and Ellen Wilhelmina Mather Aldridge. She was a retired
school teacher and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, New
Albany, IN.
Also, preceding her in death were her husband, Boyd M. Hooper, Sr.;
siblings, Rosalind Crawford, Alvin and James Aldridge
Surviving are a son, Boyd Hooper, Jr. of Corydon, IN; daughters, Rosemary
Carlson (David) of Greensboro, NC and Rebecca Shuffitt (Les) of
Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren, Jodi, Janice, Leslie and Eric; 5 Great
Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be at 3 P.M. Sunday,
May 27, 2018 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1101 Silver Street, New
Albany, IN.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to her church.
