The First Annual Media Hot Dog Eating Contest will take place at Louisville Slugger Field on Tuesday, July 3 at approximately 6:15 p.m. on the field.
The competition will last 5 minutes. Whoever eats the most hot dogs (bun included) in the 5:00 will be crowned the champion.
You’ll get your choice of water (or your Pepsi product of choice) will be provided.
Gameday staff will be administering the event, with Bats associate broadcaster Matt Schumacker hosting the event.
To gain field access, please arrive at 6:00 p.m. at the absolute latest, and enter through the Suite Lobby of Louisville Slugger Field, where you will be directed on the field.

The prize will include a trophy, as well as a special prize pack courtesy of the Louisville Bats, and of course the admiration and respect of your peers and the entire city of Louisville.
