Christina S. Lashbrooks, age 66 of Salem, passed away Wednesday, August
8, 2018 at 10:34 pm, in St. Vincent Salem Hospital.
Born October 18, 1951 in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the
late Alvin H. and Susan (Bowling) Lee.
She was a retired employee Kimball Office Manufacturing – Salem Division
and a former employee of the old Smith Cabinet Manufacturing Company.
She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church and had been a life
resident of Washington County.
On April 10, 1982 she married Gregory Alan Martin, who passed away
November 7, 1987. On July 22, 1990 she married Glenn R. Lashbrooks, who
survives.
Also surviving are: Daughter: Kelly Lykins of Sellersburg; Son: Brent
Minton of Salem; Stepson: Sean Lashbrooks of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; 4
Sisters: Patricia Knox and Ruth Arredondo of Salem, Beverly Yocum of
Sellersburg and Vickie Brown of Pekin; 1 Brother: Dewayne Lee of
Sellersburg; Her mother: Mary E. Lee of Sellersburg; 9 grandchildren and
13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Vanessa Beck and Maria Minton
and 3 brothers: Timothy H., Roger D. and Johnny R. Lee.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Monday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Bro. Randy
Albertson officiating, followed by interment in Olive Branch Cemetery.
Visitation: 9 to 11 am Monday at the funeral home.
