John Edward Roberts, age 82 of Salem, Indiana passed away Wednesday,
October 10, 2018 at 2:22 am, in Salem Crossing Nursing Home.
Born August 10, 1936 in Hardinsburg, Indiana, he was the son of the late
Alonzo Roberts and Iva Myrtle (Hook) Roberts.
He served in the Armed Forces as a Spec 4 in the U.S. Army..
In 1983 he married Lynn (Gavette) Roberts, who survives.
He was a jack of all trades at Southern States Farm Supply
Resident of Washington County since 1999, formerly of Hawesville, Kentucky
He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Daughter: Iva Roberts of Salem, Indiana;
Daughter: Ruth (Jerry) Brown of Salem, Indiana;
Daughter: Sandra (Steve) Russell of Martin, Tennessee;
Daughter: Patricia (David) Lehman of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin;
Daughter: Connie Puckett of Owensboro, Kentucky;
Daughter: Cherylynn Kellum of Mena, Arkansas;
Son: Daniel (Carol) Roberts of Lewisport, KY;
Son: Troy (Teresa) Roberts of Lewisport, KY;
Sister: Eler Dowell of Hardinsburg, Kentucky;
Brother: Carl Roberts of Owensboro, KY
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda (Morgan) Roberts.
There will be a memorial service Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 3:00 pm
in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses
