Thursday of last week, John K. Richardson, 36 of Bloomington, was arrested on warrant at the Monroe County Jail following an investigation into the possession of child pornography images. Master Trooper Detective Kevin Getz, of the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, met Richardson at the Monroe County Jail and served the warrant that was issued after the initial investigation.
Richardson was arrested for the following;
Possession of Child Pornography, a Level 6 Felony
This arrest followed the investigation and the execution of a search warrant at Richardson’s Bloomington residence on South Westwood Drive. Members of the Indiana State Police’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, Cyber Crimes Unit and Bloomington District’s Investigations Unit executed the search warrant in December 2018.
Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
