ISP and Ellettsville PD Arrest Methamphetamine Dealers

On May 14th, a lengthy investigation by the Indiana State Police Drug Enforcement Section culminated with the arrest of two people from Ellettsville for Dealing Methamphetamine. Over the course of several weeks, officers conducted surveillance, interviews, and multiple controlled buys. 

Arrested and charged were: 

Laura Richardson (age 53)

  1. Dealing Methamphetamine, Level 2 Felony
  2. Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 3 Felony
  3. Possession of Paraphernalia, C Misdemeanor

Michael Anderson (age 45)

  1. Dealing Methamphetamine, Level 2 Felony
  2. Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 3 Felony

A search warrant was ultimately obtained for a residence in Lindsey Hayes Trailer Court in Ellettsville.  Ellettsville Police officers Sgt. Eric Chaudion, Officer Zachary Michael and Officer Alec Leggio along with ISP District #33 ACES Sgt. Greg Day, Trp. Chris Griggs, Trp. Gabe Bault, and Trp. Caleb Garvin assisted ISP DES in executing the early evening search warrant.

During the search, officers seized 160 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, scales, and other items of dealing evidence.  The two occupants of the residence were arrested and incarcerated at the Monroe County Jail.
