Bruce Edward Pearson, 79, of Marengo, Indiana, died on July 28, 2019, at Harrison Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon, Indiana.
He was born on February 2, 1940, in Marengo, Indiana to the late Charles T. and Edith Irene (Poe) Pearson.
He was a retired meter reader for Louisville Gas and Electric and was a member of the Marengo Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Pearson; and his son, Steven E. Pearson.
He is survived by his wife: Brenda S. (Conrad) Pearson of Marengo, Indiana; sons: Jay M. Pearson of Rasmey, Indiana and Mark A. Pearson of Marengo, Indiana; his daughter: Jane Ann Harvey of English, Indiana; a brother: Ted Pearson of Valeene, Indiana; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at the Marengo Christian Church, 470 S. Cedar Street, Marengo, Indiana 47140. Interment will follow in the Union Chapel Cemetery near Milltown, Indiana.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, from 4-8 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, all at the church.
Bro. Morris Larimore and Bro. Mike Gillespie will officiate the service.
Casket Bearers will be Doug, Hal, Justin, Levi, Matthew Pearson, and Trevor Harvey.
