When the Reds return home next Friday night for the final homestand of the season, it won’t just be the end of the season on the horizon, but a farewell to legendary broadcaster Marty Brennaman as well.

The Hall of Famer is headed for retirement at the conclusion of his 46th season, and the club has a number of celebrations planned to ensure that Reds Country can give Marty a fitting send-off. Among the festivities is a unique opportunity for fans to watch Marty broadcast from a temporary radio booth inside the seating bowl for the Sept. 20 game, along with pregame appearances there on Sept. 24 and 25. Fans will also be treated to a special father-son broadcast featuring Marty and Thom Brennaman on the radio for the Sept. 25 game.

Each game of the final series Sept. 24-26 against the Brewers will feature a giveaway to celebrate Marty, culminating with a Reds handheld radio to the first 20,000 fans on Sept. 26. Fans at the game will be able to use the radios to tune to 94.5 FM and hear Marty’s farewell call right from their seats. That final home game on Sept. 26 will also feature post-game ceremonies to honor Marty’s iconic career, including all fans being invited onto the field for a special “Marty Party” with Marty and FOX Sports Ohio’s Jim Day.

Be sure to get your tickets now to be a part of this special celebration of Marty Brennaman’s career during the final Reds home games of the season. Visit reds.com/Marty for all the details.
