If anyone encounters a person coming to their home saying they have extra blacktop and asking to pave their driveway, please contact the Scott County Sheriff’s Office at 812-752-5550.
We have been receiving reports of people going door to door soliciting blacktopping jobs.
“At this point we are not saying this is a scam but, we just want to check the solicitor’s out,” according to Sheriff Jerry Goodin.
