The Salem Police Department noted on its social media page this afternoon that the two suspects in this morning’s armed robbery of a local gas station have been identified.
However, according to officials, no arrests have been made and no further information has been released.
According to SPD, officers obtained video footage showing two adult black males entering the store.
One male was armed and held the cashier at gunpoint while the other grabbed all the money from the register.
It is not known how much cash was taken or if anything else was missing from the store.
The suspects then fled on foot and out of sight of the cameras.
No one was injured during the robbery.
Officers have been investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Sonoco gas station in Salem earlier this morning.
Police were dispatched to the location at 4:21 a.m.
Suspects are still at large and believed to be driving a dark-colored Chevy HHR.
