Linda Darnell Hardin, 72, of Salem, passed away at 7:35 AM on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at Meadowview Health and Rehab in Salem, Indiana.
She was born on April 25, 1947, in Salem, IN, the daughter of Arthur and Georgia Mae (Brown) Hardin.
She was a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church in Salem. She was a graduate of the Salem High School, class of 1965. She retired from Kimball’s after many years of employment and worked later as a bus monitor for the Blue River School System.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Donna Walker of Salem, Jr. Hardin (Nancy) of Campbellsburg, Beverly Hardin of Salem, Ernest Hardin (Tammy) of Salem, Kenneth Hardin (Petra) of Texas, Mike Hardin, Jeff Hardin (Debbie), Waneta Goller (Bill) and Melvin Hardin (Leann) all of Salem; fifteen nieces and nephews, Bryan Walker (Misty), Artie Hardin, Tracy Jones (Nathan) Jessica Delia (Andy), Dannie Wingler, Brittany Goller, Bridget Lashbrooks (Corey), Steven Hardin, Aaron Walker (Daniell), Jason Hardin (Andrea), Brandon Goller (Amanda), Ann Ward, Kara Hamilton (Randy), Jared Hardin, Melea Hardin; several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Janice Hardin and Yvonne Hardin; one nephew, Jimmy Hardin.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at the Mill Creek Baptist Church in Salem with Jared Hardin officiating.
Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Friends are invited to visitation at the church on Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM.
