WSLM will provide a simulcast with CNN, of Coronavirus: Facts and Fears.
This town hall will focus on the current domestic and international status of the Coronavirus outbreak, and what we should do and not do to prevent the virus from spreading.
The two-hour program will be anchored by Anderson Cooper and CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, with health experts taking questions from the studio audience and listeners.
Coronavirus: Facts and Fears will air from 10:00p to Midnight.
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness
that can spread from person to person. The virus that causes
COVID-19 is a novel coronavirus that was first identified during
an investigation into an outbreak in Wuhan, China.
As of 4 March 2020, more than 95,000 cases have been confirmed, of which 7,100 were classified as serious.
At least 83 countries and territories have been affected, with major outbreaks in Central China, South Korea, Italy, and Iran. More than 3,200 people have died: almost 3,000 in mainland China and over 270 in other countries.
More than 51,000 people have recovered.
