A 25-year-old Clinton man was arrested for allegedly battering a juvenile female under the age of 14.
Arrested and Charged was Daniel L. Harris, 25, Clinton, IN
- Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, Level 5 Felony
Indiana State Police initiated a criminal investigation on November 19, 2019, after receiving information from Lieutenant Dustin Walls of the Clinton Police Department that a female, under the age of 14, had been sexually battered.
After reviewing the investigation, the Vermillion County Prosecutor requested a warrant for Harris’ arrest.
Vermillion County Circuit Court granted an arrest warrant on March 6, 2020.
Harris was arrested at his residence today in Clinton, without incident, and is currently being held in the Vermillion County Jail on a $15,000 bond with 10% allowed.
