Kentucky Derby Museum’s top priority is the health and well-being of our visitors, staff, and volunteers. We are increasing the frequency of cleaning exhibits, handrails, restrooms and high traffic areas throughout the day.
Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the Museum and restrooms.
Out of an abundance of caution, we are making adjustments to select tours, exhibits and group education in an effort to maintain Museum hours and mitigate the potential of the COVID-19 virus to spread.
Tours:
Barn & Backside Tours are suspended until further notice.
Behind the Scenes, Tours will be using stairs instead of elevators to avoid confinement in small spaces.
Other tours will continue as planned at this time.
Exhibits:
Interactive touch screens have been turned off, replaced with looping videos, or will be presented by our staff.
“The Greatest Race” – We are limiting the number of people admitted to view the movie per show.
Groups/Education:
Since most school systems are now closed, we have canceled/rescheduled planned school group tours.
