Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving Inc. plans to begin work on S.R. 62 in Lanesville on or after Tuesday, Sept. 8, as part of a $580,000 asphalt resurface contract.
Work will take place along a one-mile stretch of S.R. 62 from Barron Ave. to the bridge over Smith Creek. Crews will start with curb ramp removal and replacement, followed by patching and paving in early October. Traffic impacts will include daytime lane closures with flagging.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, watch for stopped traffic and drive distraction-free through all work zones. The project is expected to be complete by October 30, 2020. All work is weather dependent.
