Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Paul H. Rohe Company plans to close S.R. 62 west of Canaan on or after Tuesday, Sept. 8, to complete the last of six box culvert replacements. The $1.1 million contracts began in April of this year.
On or after Tuesday, S.R. 62 will close approximately one mile east of S.R. 250 for 30 days. The official detour route will follow U.S. 421 to S.R. 129, back to S.R. 62.
Following the completion of this structure, crews will return to each location to place the final asphalt surface and permanent pavement markings. This work will be completed under lane closures with flagging.
