Patsy L. Callaway, age 89, of Salem, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Salem Crossing. Born June 3, 1931, in Salem, she was the daughter of Glen Harned and Grace (Weeks) Harned. On December 12, 1948, she married Wayne Callaway.
Patsy was a homemaker and cafeteria worker; was a member of the First Baptist Church in Salem; a member of Community Club 31; and a former 4-H leader.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She is survived by 4 children: Waynetta Myers (Tom); Gary Callaway (Cathy); Steven Callaway (Donna); and Aaron Callaway (Misty); 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 22, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Salem Chapel with Dr. Steve Gorman officiating.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2020, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home and Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until time of service. Burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
