According to Washington County Treasurer Shirley Batt, the fall portion of Washington County Property Taxes are due by November 10.
Payments can be made now at the Treasurer’s Office at the Courthouse.
Batt said to come into the courthouse, a temperature check and mask is required.
The courthouse will be closed Tuesday, November 3, for Election Day, but hours otherwise will be Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Other payment options include:
- Payments can be placed in the Dropbox located on the south side of the courthouse is open to leaving payments at any time.
- Mail payments through the post office. These payments must be postmarked on or before Nov. 10th. We suggest taking mail inside the post office for accurate delivery.
- First Savings Bank locations throughout southern Indiana will take payments with coupon.

Batt advises taxpayers that paying through the website does include a charge and she is exploring a new vendor for next year that could be a cheaper option for taxpayers.
