Arthur R. Collier, 84, of Orleans, passed away at 5:30 AM on February 3, 2021 at Paoli Health and Living Community.
He was born August 27, 1936 in St. Louis, MO, the son of James and Juanita (Sears) Collier.
He married Betty Jo (Reid) Collier and she survives.
He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and of the UAW union local# 440.
He was employed at General Motors for over 31 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo of Orleans; one son, James Russell Collier of Bedford; one daughter, Carmen Fish of Bedford; four step-children, Vicki Pogue of Paoli, Harold Kendall Jr. of Paoli, IN, Kevin Kendall of Rockport, IN and Greg Kendall of Paoli; one sister, Patsy Steele of Nabb, IN; one brother, Jimmy Collier of
Buna, TX; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; one great-grandson, Gage Pruett.
The funeral will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at the Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home with Cory Rash officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
Friends are invited to visitation at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 until service time.
