Wilma I. (Mousty) McDonald, 82, of Springfield, Ohio passed from this life on June 19, 2021 at Springfield Regional Medical Center in Springfield, Ohio.
Wilma was born on November 23, 1938 near Ramsey, Indiana to the late Leo Stanley and Marietta (Pavey) Mousty.
Wilma was a former Cosmetologist and a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Springfield, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John L. McDonald Sr.; a son, Shane Anthony McDonald; sisters: Thelma Irene Mousty and Josephine Gresham; and brothers: Melvin D. and Everett Lynn Mousty.
She is survived by her son, John L. McDonald Jr. of Springfield, Ohio; daughters: Lisa M. Elzey of Springfield, Ohio and Jodi Henderson of Jeffersonville, Indiana; brother, Maurice M. Mousty of Palmyra, Indiana; sister, Imogene Berkenmeyer of Ramsey, Indiana; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 6:00 pm at the Northside Baptist Church in Springfield, Ohio and then on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy., Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
Interment will follow in the Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 3:00 pm until time of the service at 6:00 pm at the Northside Baptist Church in Springfield, Ohio and on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 2-8 pm and after 9:00 am until time of the service at 11:00 am on Saturday, all at the Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy., Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
Pastor David Hill will officiate the service.
Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
