Teresa Behnke, age 59, of Salem, passed away Monday, June 28 at her home.
Behnke was born September 14, 1961, in Salem the daughter of Claude and Mary Louise Russel Knight. She was a member of the Christian Home Fellowship. Teresa was an employee of Hitachi Cable.
Teresa is survived by her husband: Allen Behnke. They were married on February 27, 1988. She is also survived by a daughter: Tabitha Simmons (Robert) of Salem, three brothers: Paul Knight of New Albany, Keith Knight of Kentucky, and Melvin Knight of Salem, her step-mother: Laura Knight of Salem, and two grandchildren: Addyn Behnke and Nickalus Simmons. She was preceded in death by her parents: Claude and Mary Knight.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 Am at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 PM and Saturday from 9 AM -time of service.
