Roger L. Lloyd, age 88, of Salem, Indiana passed Monday, September 27, 2021, at the Clark Memorial Hospital.
Born January 31, 1933, in Salem, he was the son of the late Albert and Mabel (Davis) Lloyd. On February 14, 1957, he married Evelyn (Williams) Lloyd who survives.
Roger was a Marine Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict; member of Mt. Tabor Christian Church; member of the Washington County Pilots association: worked with Winslow & Triangle Construction; Co-Owner of Tex-Oil; Co-Owner of Pic-N-Pump; former Co-Owner of West Side Village Mobile Home Park; and an active Farmer.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Evelyn Lloyd; 2 daughters, Rhonda Johnson (Gary) and Janice Martin (Craig); 5 grandchildren, Tonya Deremiah, Emily Richards, Zachary Johnson, Erika Kincheloe, and Molly Nice; 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
The funeral service will be Friday, October 1 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 30, from 4-8 PM, and Friday from 9:00 AM until service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery with full Military Honors. Tony Mendizabal will officiate.

Roger’s great-granddaughter, Norah Richards, was recently diagnosed with an ultra-rare incurable children’s neurological disorder affecting 1 in 1 million known patients.
