Anita Darlene Miller, age 86, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, October 5 at her home.
Mrs. Miller was born July 7, 1935, in Orleans, Indiana the daughter of Maurice and Goldie Mulvaney LaDuke. She was a member of Westview Christian Church, where she served with the Westview Wee Worship Team, the Friendly Neighbors Homemaker Club, and the Westview Ladies Christian Fellowship. Darlene was also a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Darlene is survived by her husband: Jerry Miller they were married on September 2, 1966. She is also survived by her children: Debbie Seebold of Salem, Donald Lessig (Carolyn) of Pekin, and Randy Lessig (Marcia) of New Albany, four sisters: Shirley Kendall of Mitchell, Sharon Sands of Salem, Bonnie Burton of Mitchell, and Charlotte Grissom also of Mitchell, four grandchildren: Autumn Sikora, Misty Callaway, Elijah Lessig, and Amber Richards, and 8 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by four brothers: Leon, Dale, Merle, and Gary LaDuke, a son-in-law: Jerry Seebold, a great-granddaughter: Addison Sikora, and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, October 9 at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 4-8 PM and Saturday from 10 AM -until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
