Marvin Lee Sease, age 76, of Salem, passed away Friday, October 1 at his home.
Mr. Sease was born September 3, 1945 in Salem the son of Harry Sease and Mildred Nale Sease. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a former member of Western Hill Golf Club. Marvin was retired from Childcraft Industries in Salem.
Marvin is survived by his wife: Betty Freed Sease they were married on April 10, 1970. He is also survived by a son: Steven Sease of French Lick, a daughter: Stephanie Sabens (Steve) of Salem, four brothers: Bob Sease of Lincolnton, NC, Freddie Sease, Randy Sease, and Brian Sease all of Salem, a sister: Sharon Jones of Lincolnton, NC, two granddaughters: Taylor Chastain (Kade) of Orleans, and Chloey Sabens of Salem, and one great-grandchild: Kohen Chastain.
He is preceded in death by two brothers: Charles Sease and Roger Sease, two sisters: Wilma Schreiber, and Thelma Cox, and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, October 5 at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Saltillo Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be held Monday from 4-8 PM and Tuesday from 12 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
