Kelly Martin, Jr., age 80 of Salem, Indiana passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 at 10:20 pm, in his residence.
Born April 25, 1941 in Salem, he was the son of the late Kelly Martin Sr. and Gladys (Bishop) Martin.
On July, 20th 1963 he married Joyce Darlene (Speck) Martin.
He was a life resident of Washington County and the owner of the old J&D Automotive, before retiring to drive a cab for P.N.I Medical Transport in Salem.
He is survived by:
His wife, Joyce Darlene (Speck) Martin; 2 Sons: Timmy Martin and Christopher T. (Alie) Martin both of Salem; a daughter Kelly Jo Martin (Chris) Barnett of Arkansas; 1 brother: Rodney (Marla) Mills of Salem and 2 sisters: Joy Mae Wynn of Salem and Connie Mills of New Albany Indiana.
He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and his adopted boys: Johnny Frink, Troy Nicholson and Justin Elliott.
He was preceded in death by 7 brothers.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Justin Elliot officiating. Interment will follow the service at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Wednesday and 10 to 11 am Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
