Darrell David Womack, 71, of Leavenworth, Indiana passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 6, 2022 at Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leavenworth, Indiana. Darrell was born on November 16, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Sanford D. and Ruby Dean (Ogle) Womack.
He was a retired truck driver and mechanic and enjoyed fishing, especially at Lake Cumberland. He was an avid UK Fan and NHRA fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sandra Lynn Strawser, and a nephew, Cory A. Blocker.
He is survived by his daughter, Melisa Biddle (Troy) of Leavenworth, Indiana; sister, Betty J. Blocker (Ronald Sr.) of New Salisbury, Indiana; brother, Douglas D. Womack of Jeffersonville, Indiana; grandchildren: Paige, Lindsey, and Josie; and one great-grandchild, Collins; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 7, 2022 from 4-8 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.
Cremation will follow the services.
The family requested that expressions of sympathy be made to the Brown Funeral Home to help the family with the cost of the expenses.
