Erman E. Hurst, age 84, of Borden passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at his residence.
Born March 31, 1938 in Borden, he was the son of the late George E. Hurst and Mahala A. (Carter) Hurst. On June 10, 1961, he married Donna S. (McKinley) Hurst who survives.
Erman was a machinist and the owner of Indiana Southern Tool; he was a United States Army Veteran; and was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Hurst; son, Brian E. Hurst (Debbie); daughter, Monica S. Mann (David); and 4 grandchildren: Austin Mann, Sarah Hurst, Elizabeth Mann, and Carter Hurst.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mahala Hurst, and brother, Ronald L. Hurst.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral-Borden Chapel with Brent Donoho officiating.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 26, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Burial to follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
