A 44-year-old Crawford County man was arrested Saturday on charges of murder and child molesting.
Clinton J. Herman, 44, Milltown, was taken into custody and charged with:
Murder – Level 1 Felony
Child Molesting – Level 3 Felony
On Saturday Afternoon, March 30th, officers with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Milltown area for a possible murder.
When Officers arrived, they located a deceased female, Nancy Herman.
Indiana State Police was contacted to assist in the investigation.
The suspect in the murder was identified as Herman, and ffter a probable cause affidavit was completed by the Indiana State Police, a warrant was issued for his arrest out of Crawford County.
After several hours of searching for Herman, officers located him at a residence in Harrison County.
Herman was taken into custody without incident.
The family of Nancy Herman has been notified and an autopsy will be scheduled. This case is still under investigation.
