Donnie Ray Hacker, age 70 of Pekin, Indiana passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 11:25 am, in Salem Crossing Salem, Indiana.
He had been a resident of Washington County for most of life. Graduated In 1973, from Pekin High School. Then went on to get his associates degree at Northwood in French Lick. In 1991 he married Mary Patricia (Hudkins) Hacker, who survives. He was a part of the Salem Moose Lodge #2380. He enjoyed deep sea fishing in Destin Florida, camping and fishing at Patoka and Dale Hallow Lakes, and he had a strong Christian faith.
Survivors include: Wife: Mary Patricia (Hudkins) Hacker Sister: Janet (Tim) Armstrong of Summerville, South Carolina; Sister: Pamela (Ron) Lambert of North Fort Myers, Florida; Nephew: Fred Armstrong; Nephew: Craig Lambert; Nephew: Cory Lambert; Niece: Angela Armstrong. Many great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by His Mother and Sister Sandra Trabel.
Donnie was laid to rest at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Salem.
