On Friday, August 15, a 47-year-old Orange County man was arrested on multiple county of child molesting, according to the Indiana State Police.
Friday at approximately 4:00 p.m., Michael S. Anderson of West Baden was arrested at his place of employment without incident. He was taken to the Orange County Jail where he is currently being held on bond. Anderson was charged with five counts of Child Molesting – Forcible Rape, Class A Felony On July 7, 2024, the Indiana State Police initiated a criminal investigation after receiving information that Anderson had allegedly molested a child. ISP Detective Tyler Matthew conducted the investigation and submitted his findings to the Orange County Prosecutor’s Office. After reviewing the investigation, the Orange County Prosecutor’s Office filed criminal charges on Anderson, and an arrest warrant was issued.
