Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Roadsafe Traffic Systems, Inc. is scheduled to temporarily close the I-65 northbound on-ramp from eastbound I-265 on or after the evening of Saturday, November 8, in Clark County.
Crews are closing the ramp to complete overhead sign structure removal and installation work. The ramp closure is expected to take up to one night (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.), weather permitting. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows SB I-65 to Veterans Parkway to NB I-65.
On or after the evening of Saturday, November 8, drivers can also expect rolling stoppages on I-265 between Charlestown Road and the I-265/I-65 interchange from approximately 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for sign structure removal and installation work. Rolling stoppages are expected to take up to one night, weather permitting.
This work is part of a contract awarded to Roadsafe in December 2023. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
