Troopers arrested 22-year-old Eric S. Crawford, Hardinsburg, on three counts of Possession of Child Pornography as the result of an Indiana State Police investigation which began in 2024.
On November 17, an arrest warrant was formally issued for Crawford.
The warrant was for three counts of Possession of Child Pornography; each charge is a Level 6 Felony.
On November 18, 2025, Trooper Brett Walters arrested Crawford in Harrison County and transported him to Washington County Jail without incident.
In late July 2024, Indiana State Police Detective Travis Baker began an investigation into an alleged child sexual abuse case in Washington County.
As part of this case, Detective Baker secured a search warrant for a social media account linked to Eric Crawford, resulting in thousands of files for review.
During this process, photos of another juvenile victim unrelated to the initial investigation were discovered.
Detective Baker sent his investigation findings to the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office for review and potential filing of charges.
