Schneck Medical Center is proud to announce it has entered into an agreement to acquire Family Drug locations in Brownstown and Seymour, Indiana, further strengthening its long-standing commitment to locally owned, independent healthcare and personalized service for the communities it serves.

Patients will experience no interruption in service. Prescriptions, refills, and all pharmacy operations will continue seamlessly, and Schneck will maintain existing relationships with Family Drug’s vendors and partners to ensure continuity of care and trusted service.

Unlike large national pharmacy chains, Schneck Medical Center remains locally owned and governed, with decisions made right here in the communities it serves. This local focus allows Schneck to prioritize personalized care, community relationships, and long-term investment in the health and well-being of area residents.

“This acquisition reflects Schneck’s mission to provide accessible, high-quality care close to home,” said Dr. Eric Fish, President and CEO of Schneck Medical Center. “We are honored to continue Family Drug’s tradition of service while expanding access to care through an independent, locally owned health system that is deeply committed to the people and communities we serve.”

The acquisition reinforces Schneck’s dedication to preserving trusted local healthcare services and ensuring patients continue to receive the attentive, community-centered care they expect.
