Larry Wayne Brough, age 68 of Salem, Indiana passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, January 8, 2026
Born August 29, 1957 in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of the late Paul and Lucille (Ray) Brough.
He attended Turning Point Christian Church, had been a life resident of Washington County was an avid fisherman and was life time supporter of the Indiana Hoosiers.
He retired from the National Guard after 22 years from Charlie Company 151 and was the owner of Brough’s Lawn Service.
On November 16, 1977 he married Linda C. (Gardner) Brough, who survives.
Also surviving are: Son: Rodney (Andrea) Brough of Salem; Daughter: Bridget (Clifton) Herr of Salem; Sister: Sister Linda (Clayborn) Broady of Mulberry, Indiana: Grandson: Devin Herr (fiancé Kailyn Routson); 4 Granddaughters: Addison Herr, Kenedie (Keaton) Depoy, Hallie Brough and Macie Brough.
He was preceded in death by Brothers: Donald, Billy J. and Johnny Ray Brough and Sisters: Marilyn Deal, Rosetta Todd, Janice Schocke and Carolyn Winslow.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Wednesday, January 14 at Dawalt Funeral Home with Wes Stephenson, Tom Voyles & Todd Houchin officiating.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and 9 to 11 am Wednesday.
Interment at Mt. Tabor Cemetery Salem, Indiana.
