Shawn D. Dunn, age 51 of Salem, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 in his home.
Mr. Dunn was born October 31, 1974 in Salem, the son of David Dunn and Ruth Ann Jones Dunn. He was a member of the Salem Nazarene Church. Mr. Dunn was a Class of 1992 Salem High School graduate and worked at the Weber Group as a painter, he was also a United States Army Veteran.
Mr. Dunn is survived by his wife, Kristy Dunn. They were married December 13, 1996. He is also survived by his 3 sons: Tyler Dunn (Caridad) of Brandon, Florida, Logan Dunn (Hannah Ingram) of Salem, Dalton Dunn also of Salem and his granddaughter, Evelyn Dunn. Also survived are his brothers, Tim Crandall of Pekin, Rob Crandall of Salem and Kyle Dunn of Mitchell, and his sister, Carla Deschamp of Jasonville, Indiana.
Mr. Dunn is preceded in death by his parents, David Dunn and Ruth Ann Jones Dunn and his sister, Vicki Pennington.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the Salem Nazarene Church at 1:00P.M. there will be a visitation from 12:00P.M until the start of the service.
