Mable Beatrice Roney-Adams age 97 of Salem passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Salem Crossing.
Mrs. Adams was born December 14, 1928, in Washington County, the daughter of George Roney and Sarah Sparks Roney. She was a homemaker.
Mable had four children which she cared for with her husband, Ben Adams. She served in the church fellowship at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. She was a member auxilary of Blue River Fire Department. Her hobbies were quilting, making pies, candy, gardening, flower gardening and talking with friends and family on the phone. She enjoyed going to music events and was a member of the Senior Citizens of Salem. She attended every Thursday evening music. She enjoyed spending time with the grand kids and great grand kids. She was strong support for family and friends. She loved cooking and baking. Mom was very outgoing and always made time for anyone.
Mable is survived by her two children, Stephen Adams and Dianna Adams Moore, four grandchildren: Chasity, Ashley, Sarah and Zachary and six great grandchildren: Dakota, Aydon, Carter, Avin, Cohen and Britton.
Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her mother and father, Sarah and George Roney, her husband Ben Adams and two children, Walter Gale Adams and Barbara Carol Peters. She is preceded by her siblings, Richard, Louie, Nellie, Ruby, Roy, Buela, Creta, Doug and Noel.
Services will be held on Friday, February 27th, at 1:00P.M at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will also be on Friday, from 11:00A.M until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Mt. Carmel Fredericksburg Cemetery, immediately following the service.
