At approximately 11:00 p.m., The Spencer County Sheriff’s Office received a call stating someone was stealing lawnmowers from a residence in Dale.

Officers responded to the residence but were unable to locate the suspect. Information was received that the vehicle matching the description was observed on Interstate 64.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office located the vehicle near the 86-mile marker off ramp. While attempting to stop the vehicle, the suspect fled Eastbound, leading officers on a pursuit.

The vehicle continued Eastbound until the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office deployed stop sticks again, striking the remaining tires of the vehicle.

The vehicle continued Eastbound until coming to a stop at the 100-mile marker. Tomlinson was taken into custody by Trooper Andrew Recker without further incident. Tomlinson was transported to the Spencer County Jail where he is being held on bond.

During the pursuit, a Harrison County Deputy was injured and went to the hospital for injuries to his hand.
