WSLM CONTEST RULES

  1. All WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM contests are open to any and all WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM listeners, unless otherwise specified by WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM.
  2. ONLY ENTER CONTESTS IF YOU CAN USE THE TICKETS ON THE DAY THE TICKETED EVENT IS FOR. 
  3. DO NOT SELL TICKETS WON FROM SALEM MEDIA. IF A PERSON IS CAUGHT SELLING TICKETS WON FROM SALEM MEDIA, THEY WILL BE BARRED FROM WINNING ANY TICKETS IN THE FUTURE. 
  4. Only one winner per family or household per 30 days will be allowed.
  5. The decision of WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 Am is final. Winners will be announced on air and notified by either phone, mail or e-mail.
  6. All prizes, unless otherwise specified will be mailed via United States Postal Service.
  7. All Unclaimed prizes within 30 days will be forfeited.
  8. WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM is at liberty to re-award any unclaimed prize at the end of a thirty-day grace period.
  9. Odds of winning any contest will depend on the number of qualified entries and may be different for each individual contest.
  10. WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM may substitute another prize of equal value, in the event of non-availability of a prize.
  11. Employees, employees relatives, past employees, employees of competition and affiliates of WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM are ineligible to enter/win.
  12. Most WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM prizes will be mailed by US Postal Service. WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM is not responsible for the failure or tardiness of prizes delivered via US Postal Service. Prizes that may need to be claimed in person will need proper identification. Valid driver’s license, passport, state ID, Military ID, or a birth certificate will be accepted as valid identification.
  13. WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM is not responsible for defective prizes.
  14. Additions or deletions to these rules may be made at the discretion of WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM and may be enacted at any time.
  15. Winners can be of any age unless noted in specific contest rules.
  16. WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM, its agencies, sponsors, or representatives absolve themselves of any liability, financial or otherwise, resulting from any on or off-air contests staged by WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM.
  17. All contest entries become the property of WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM. Furthermore, WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM may withhold any material crucial to the completion of the contest.
  18. All contestants acknowledge, as a condition of entry, that WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM has the right to publicize or broadcast a contestants or winners name, character, likeness, voice or all matters incidental herein.
  19. All contestants acknowledge that WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM may contact them by mail, e-mail or phone.
  20. All prizes are non-transferable and void where prohibited by law. No cash substitution of prizes will be allowed.
  21. Winners understand and agree that they are responsible for all taxes incurred on prizes receive. Also in the event that a winner chooses not to accept a prize, he or she forfeits all claim to that prize. WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM then has the right, at its discretion, to award that prize to a contest runner-up.
  22. Sweepstakes/contests are open to U.S. residents only. These basic contest rules and addenda are available for review during regular business hours at the WSLM 97.9 FM/WSLM 1220 AM Main Office, 1308 East Hackberry Street, Salem, IN, 47167.
