Larry L. Hurst, age 81, of Borden, Indiana passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Born July 28, 1940, in Borden, he was the son of the late Kenneth Hurst and Pearl Marie (Reister) Hurst. On June 12, 1963, he married Betty Jo (Cullins) Hurst who survives.
Larry was a janitor at Joe Huber’s Family Farm & Restaurant for over 30 years; was a member of the Indiana National Guard, and was a member of the First Christian Church of Borden.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Hurst; 3 sons: Larry Lee Hurst II, Michael Eugene Hurst, and Gary Wayne Hurst; 1 brother: Maurice Hurst; 5 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother; and 2 sisters.
A funeral service will be held at a later date and time.
Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with funeral care.
