Dale G. Tash, age 87 of Salem
Dale G. Tash, age 87 of Salem, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 2:39 am, in his residence.
Born May 31, 1933 in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of the late Glenn E. and Ruth L. (Purlee) Tash.
He retired in 1978 as Assistant Chief from the Salem Fire Department and worked full and part time at the Dawalt Funeral Home for over 50 years.
He was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, had been a life resident of Washington County, graduated in 1953 from Salem High School
and served during the Korean War in the U. S. Army.
On March 29, 1957 he married Martha M. (Bowling) Tash, who survives.
Also surviving are: 3 Daughters: Jo Dee (Johnny) Stephens and Jeanie Naugle of Salem and Jamie (Chad) Brough of Omaha, Nebraska; 1 Son: Jimmy
Tash of Salem; 1 Sister: Glenda Burton of Seymour; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Linda Charles.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Tuesday at Salem United Methodist Church followed by interment in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Visitation: 10 am until the time of the service on Tuesday.
