The search for a new executive director for the Jackson County Juvenile Center will begin Tuesday.
A search was made necessary after executive director John Long recently announced his intention to return to work as a Brownstown police officer.
Commissioners president Jerry Hounshel, who also is a member of the juvenile center’s advisory board, says that board is scheduled to meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the sheriff’s department to begin the process of searching for Long’s replacement.
