Indiana State Police arrested four in Scott County early Wednesday morning after two search warrants were executed.
Arrested were William Robert Waldron, 29, from Cross Street, Austin; Ashley Nicole Vernon, 25, Oard Springs Road, Scottsburg; Gary W. Waldron, 53; Austin and Matthew Murdock, 31, of Austin.
Around 4:00 am this morning, officers from the Indiana State Police executed two search warrants.
One search warrant was executed at a residence on Oard Springs Road in rural Scott County. During that search warrant two people were arrested. Waldron and Vernon were arrested and incarcerated at the Scott County Jail. Both were arrested on the charges of Dealing in Methamphetamine, Possession. of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, Possession of Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
The second search warrant was executed at a residence on State Road #256 in Scott County and Waldon was arrested on the charges of Possession of Marijuana under 30 Grams, Possession of a Hypodermic Needle and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Murdock was also arrested at the scene for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Paraphernalia. Both of the arrested were incarcerated at the Scott County Jail.
The search warrants were a result of a shooting investigation that began in Jackson County..
