The Indiana Department of Transportation met with its contractor this morning (APRIL 8) at Seymour District offices to schedule maintenance and repairs at three area bridges—two in Jackson County and one in Harrison County.

OLCO of Batesville, the state’s contractor for this $132,211 bridge preservation project, will replace expansion joints and repair bridge decks. Work will begin after June 1 and be completed by July 31.
INDOT anticipates bridge repairs to occur at these locations in the following order:
- U.S. Highway 50 in Jackson County at Brownstown at Smallwood Ditch
- State Road 135 in Jackson County south of Freetown at Kiper Creek
- State Road 462 in Harrison County at S.R. 62 west of Corydon in Harrison County
Traffic will be directed by flaggers during repair operations.
