Rev. Orville E. Hendrixson, Jr., age 81, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015.
Orville was born February 8, 1934 at Cincinnati, Ohio and reared in West Harrison, Indiana.
He was a member of Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church and a minister for more than 35 years, serving; First United Methodist Church, Connersville, IN, Castleton United Methodist Church, Indianapolis,
Trinity United Methodist Church, New Albany, IN, First United Methodist Church, Crawfordsville, and Newburgh United Methodist Church,Newburgh, Indiana.
Surviving are his wife Pat A. Nickles Russell Hendrixson, Daughters: Valerie Lalka (Dr. Stephen Lalka), North Carolina, Sonya Parrott (Keith) of Indianapolis, IN, Ronda Garrett (Jeff) of Indianapolis, IN, Lisa Carter (Greg) of Indianapolis, IN, Carmen Hendrixson of Indianapolis, IN, Step Daughter: Lori Austin (Phil) of Floyds Knobs, IN, 16 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren
Funeral 1:00 P.M. Saturday, at Unity Chapel United Methodist Church, 1760 Lost Creek Road NW, Ramsey, IN with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Corydon, Indiana.
Visitation 2 – 8 P.M. Friday at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, IN and 11 A.M. – 1 P.M. Saturday at Unity Chapel United Methodist Church, Ramsey, IN.
